Layla is an active 1 year old pit bull/boxer cross. Layla is still learning the ways of being an ambassador dog
but loves everyone in the house including her foster brothers and sisters and the household cat. Layla would
benefit from obedience classes and someone who can teach her the appropriate manners. Layla would also
benefit from an experienced owner as in her young life she has not been treated so well but with the proper
training and owner she will make a great companion. Layla would be a great agility dog as she is very high
energy. Her foster mom is having fun with her and her antics as she keeps her laughing. Layla is house
trained and is learning the fine art of crate training. Layla is not recommended for young children due to her
energy level.
Hi I'm Maggie, I am 1 year old, I may not look pit bull in my pictures but as soon as you see me, you will think
differently. Despite my real rough start to life I am a lovely girl who is extremely affectionate. I walk great on
leash as my foster mom has taught me to heal so we can go for longer walks and I am slowly learning to stay
close to my foster mom when out on walks. I can sit for treats and i am learning how to lay down. I take my
food and treats VERY gentle as i know if I don't, I don't get my treats. I am house trained and crate trained
even though I don't like my crate, i sleep in it at night and when my foster family is out of the house. I love
playing outside with my two foster brothers . I'm good with kids and love playing with other dogs of all sizes. I
don't like cats though so I can't go to a home with any cats. If you think I may fit into your home fill out an
application form and come meet me!!

FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM The following dogs are not up for general adoption as they are in the foster to adopt program. For more information on the program see the How to Adopt Section

Ginger is a gentle two year old pit bull, possibly with some lab. Ginger has had a rough start to life but is
loving her new beginning in her foster home. Ginger is house and crate trained and is learning to walk on a
leash. She is great with her foster brothers and sisters and is great with children. Ginger LOVES cats and
would do well in a home with cats. Ginger will need a fairly calm home to get back on her feet and someone
to teach her the ways of being a dog, however she needs someone that doesn't feel sorry for her as that will
only make her insecurities worse.
Goldie is a sweet 2 year old Red Nose Pit Bull. Goldie has an amazing story of survival as she suffered a
terrible accident. Goldie has been mending two broken legs and multiple lacerations over the past few
months but she is fully healed and ready to find that new home! Goldie does have a deformity of her front
foot from the accident but this certainly doesn't slow her down, it just adds character! Goldie is great with the
foster families cat and other dogs. Goldie is house and crate trained and knows her basic commands.
Zeus is a fun loving 1 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. Zeus loves playing with other dogs and is
good with dog savvy cats and kids. Zeus is learning the fine art of being an ambassador for his breed and is
learning quickly. Zeus knows his basic commands but would still benefit from obedience classes. Zeus would
do well in any home environment and would love to start over in his forever home!
Hudson is a 3 year old male American Staffordshire Terrier. Hudson is great with other dogs, cats, and other
small animals. Hudson does require some confidence building when he finds his forever home as it seems
that he hasn't had the greatest first years. Hudson is crate and house trained and knows his basic
commands. Hudson is a quick learner but would still benefit from obedience classes to ensure he becomes a
great ambassador.
ARRIVING SOON The following dogs are not up for adoption but will be coming into the program within a few weeks. If you are interested in adopting or applying for the Foster to Adopt program, please see the How to Adopt section.

GINGER TWO - ADOPTION PENDING

My name is Ginger and I am 4 years old. I'm very timid and insecure but my foster home is working on making
me feel better about life and I am making quick progress. I would get along with any nice dogs , I am good
with cats, and although I've been very respectful to the kids in my foster home I'm looking for a kid free home
due to my fears. I don't do well with people who would rush me or scare me especially unannounced. I would
like a calm home that would show me that I don't have to feel in charge all the time and could just be a dog. I
respond very well to a calm assertive pack leader, sure feels good to be a dog and not worry so much. If you
think you could be my gentle pack leader come and meet me. I won't be available for adoption until mid
October but you are welcome to come and meet me during that time.

Benson is a gorgeous nine month old American Staffordshire Terrier. Benson is very fun loving and
outgoing. He is extremely good in the car and loves to play outside. His favourite thing is to play fetch with
tennis balls. Benson has recently learned to how to heel making it very pleasant to take him for long walks.
He has been getting along very well with the cats at his foster home. Although Benson knows his basic
commands he could still use some obedience classes. Benson is crate trained and is also house trained. He
has come a very long way in the short while that he has been in foster care. Benson is also good with
children. Benson would love to go to a home that has lots of time and energy to devote to him.

Kalin is 4 month old, floppy eared, pit bull with lots of energy, is very sweet, and loves her cuddles with her
foster mom. Kalin loves playing with her foster brothers and sisters and would most likely have no issues with
cats. Kalin is house and crate trained as she is extremely smart and would do well in most home situations
even with children. Kalin is learning her basic commands but of course, would benefit from obedience classes
to help her bond with her people, learn to be an ambassador pit bull, and socialize with other puppies.

Emma is a 7 month old, deaf, female pit bull. Emma is an amazing little girl that gets along with everyone
including cats. Emma needs to find a home that has the patience and understanding for a deaf dog, but at
the same time, won't treat her differently because she has a disability. Emma requires the same boundaries
and rules that other dogs require, just in a different way. Emma knows hand signals and responds to them
well but is still a puppy therefore learning her basic commands. Emma is house and crate trained and would
make a great addition to any family.

Unfortunately, Misa has come back into the rescue as she is not cut out to be an only dog. Misa is a 8 month
old Pit Bull/Great Dane who is amazing with other dogs and small animals. Misa doesn't always realize her
size but would do well with children as well. Misa is house trained and crate trained and would do best in an
active home with another dog who she can play with have never feel lonely again. Misa is extremely sweet
and would love a family she can call her own.
Brock is back! Unfortunately, due to allergies Brock has come back to PBFL. Brock is amazing with all dogs,
small and large animals, and kids and would do well in any family environment. Brock is house and crate
trained and knows his basic commands. Brock is 2 years old and is an absolute joy to have around. He is a
high energy dog so would need to be exercised daily and would do best with another dog in the house as he
loves the companionship.

Sally was known as "Sad Sally" at the shelter but now Sally bounds, not walks everywhere she goes! Sally is
a 2 year old American Staffordshire and is a very sensitive girl. Sally is house and crate trained and gets
along with all of her foster brothers and sisters, big and small. Sally has not yet been tested with cats. Sally
would do well in all home environments as she is an absolute doll! Sally knows her basic commands and
would do well in obedience and agility training but does require some leash training as she is a strong girl.
