I am from Louisiana. My foster family rescued me
from there a few months back. When I got here I was
very hungry and nervous.
Now – I know I am in the best place ever – Calgary.
I am looking for a Furever After Home. I am a Staffordshire terrier. I am not even a year old yet... only 11 months old.
My foster Mom says I am good walking on leash. She says I am a good listener. She says I have good manners... most
of the time. I understand that I need to do my business outside and know what I can play with and what I cannot. I
really love to cuddle and give kisses.
Sometimes I get nervous around other dogs (big female dogs) but my foster Mom always corrects me and makes me
feel safe. I would love a family of my own. I love playing with my foster pups but I think I would like to have my
people all to myself... I like all the attention.
I really love my foster kids. There are three here 14, 11 and 7. I love to jump on trampoline with the younger boys.

presently lives with two other dogs and has a
wonderful temperament. Of course she is a total
bed hog so her new family will have to make
room for her under the covers…..she will be
spayed before transport. Please give this sweet girl
a chance at a new life without discrimination and
persecution. She is so very deserving of a happy,

dog. I am in need of a strong patient leader with dog handling
experience and need to be in a home where I am the only dog. As a
submissive dog I have shown fear generated dog aggression. This
aggression is a type that with proper training I will learn this behaviour
is unacceptable but without training I could harm another dog.
NASAP has put my foster Mom and I into dog training and I am
learning slowly how to act around other dogs. (I can sit, lay down,
shake a paw and do all that stuff great.)
I am, also, very good with people big and small but a family home
may not have the time for me and think a one or two adult home
may fit me better. I like to be around where ever you go in the house. I
will put my head on your lap if you are not petting me. I would love to
be the center of attention. I need a home with people who have the

ball and catch sticks. He loves to be with you and will follow you from room to room. He would be best suited for a

As the name suggests, Cinderella has had a hard life! Along with her 5 puppies, Cinderella was nearly starved to
death by her owner. Luckily, a concerned person brought her to the SPCA instead! Now all Cindy's pups have new
homes, and this sweet mom is waiting for her Happily Ever After! When Cinderella arrived at the shelter, she was a
skinny gal, who was giving everything to her puppies. Now she is a sleek beauty! She is vaccinated, spayed, and
microchipped. Having had a poor start to life, Cinderella doesn't have many manners. She makes up for this with
pure enthusiasm! She is a huge cuddler and kisser, and ABSOLUTELY LOVES children. She is very willing to please, and
could learn basic obedience commands quite easily. Cinderella has been in the shelter since August 2009, and is
ready to live her fairy tale life with a new family!

when invited. She would do best as an only dog in a home
that has older children (just because she hasn’t had every
day exposure to young children) and adults. She currently
lives with two cats and they have gotten along. She walks
great on a leash and loves to go for bike rides. She is quiet
and does very well being left in the house unattended. She
doesn’t chew shoes or get into the garbage, but does have
an affliction for blankets. She will do anything for a belly rub
and/or soup bone and in the summer loves playing in her
kiddy pool. She is current on all her shots, licensing and is
spayed and microchipped. If anyone is interested in
meeting her and becoming her new parents they can call
