Pit Bulls for Life Foundation of Alberta
Pit Bulls for Life Foundation of Alberta is a not for profit foundation that is dedicated to rescuing and re-homing unwanted and abandoned Pit Bulls and other pit bull type breeds from shelters and animal controls in and around the Alberta area. Pit Bulls for Life takes pride in knowing that all dogs adopted have absolutely NO human aggression and have little to no animal aggression. All dogs and potential adopters are carefully screened to ensure that dogs are placed in their forever home. The foundation is completely volunteer-based and relies heavily on foster homes and donations. As we do not have a shelter for our rescued pit bulls we are limited to the number of dogs we are able to take in at any one time. If you are interested in fostering, volunteering or donating please contact us.

Ginger was playing with her fellow foster dogs when she ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament. Ginger requires a very expensive surgery to repair the damage that is common in many large breeds. If you are able to help, Ginger could certainly use your donations to help pay for her surgery! UPDATE Ginger is healing nicely, and her spirits are high 6 weeks post-op! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Ginger's surgery, we are slowly reaching our goal.
