POGUE is a large, lovable guy with a whole lot of personality packed into him. He’s smart, knows his stuff, and can absolutely shine — but like any confident dog, he sometimes likes to do things his way. And honestly? That’s part of his charm.
This high-energy boy loves his walks (and would happily turn them into runs!), and he’s a big fan of tug toys — though he can get a little extra excited when the fun starts. Keeping him active and engaged is key to bringing out his best self. POGUE does have some minor food sensitivities, but with a consistent diet, he does just fine.
When it comes to other dogs, POGUE can coexist in the right home with strong structure and leadership, but he does have tendencies to resource guard with other dogs, so management and experience are important. Because of his size, energy, and prey drive: 🚫 No kids 🚫 No small animals
